Initial implementation of the file list, which currently allows scrolling and filtering. Items are loaded dynamically to support lists with virtually any size.
Re:File list;
Would be nice to see teracopy comparing source and target before starting to copy, as in going through the source file list and checking for already existing files in target, giving a better estimate of actual job duration with skip all enabled.
Also, could the automatic log file be used as an index to already copied files?
I have a “dump” directory that’s monitored by a file sorting script moving all files to their respective sub dirs, I want to avoid having to copy the same files over and over.

This only benefits you if you have multiple physical connections to the different drives.
If you write to the same hard disk or use the same connection (LAN, WiFi, USB, pciE), you’ll end up splitting the bandwith between the job, slowing down all operations.
This is especialy notable when having several operations writing to the same usb disk (splitting usb bandwith) or internal hard drive (splitting bandwith of the platter controler).

This was my idea too, but there is not much space for it.

true, much slower than either the TeraCopy 2.3 or Total Commander.
Surprisingly, did not even notice any difference (tested 4 – 5 times) between a known fast USB 3 stick and a very old USB 2.

Did not get any errors, though.

I’ve noticed that Teracopy 2.3 has a bug when trying to copy a folder with a space in front of the name.
So if I copy a folder like (exclude quotes) ” MyFolder” it will be copied as “MyFolder” to the destination.

Dont know if this is the right section to report bugs or if it also affects TC3.0.

I’d like the File List window to fill the space with more files shown, when expanding the window size. And also for the progress indicator to highlight/follow the active file that’s being copied. In other words… more visibility on current progress. Otherwise, teracopy is awesome.

This is not exactly a solution to the question as far I can tell and also if true is a completely terrible turns of events. The beauty of teracopy was loading up moves and copies in all directions just by dragging and dropping and knowing after you went for a coffee they would all be done. No “old-style” queuing will be the end of this great piece of software. I’m really hoping I misunderstood.
I would also like to say that I rarely purchase licenses for small utilities like this but I did for your product. I’d really like a better idea on roadmap as I’ve had to stop using due to some issues, and would really like to switch back over to teracopy as it develops. A slow roadmap would be understood, but no timing or eta for updates makes it feel almost like a dead project.
