Taskbar Shuffle - Drag and drop your taskbar buttons!

November 22nd, 2007

This little program lets you rearrange buttons on your Windows taskbar. You can shuffle your tray icons as well with Ctrl key pressed. Middle mouse click on a taskbar button/group will close it. Very handy when you need to close lot of running apps. Splash screen and tray icon can be turned off.

Yeah! This is hands-down the one program I truly can’t live without.
Uninstall it from a PC I use, and within 10 minutes I’ll go crazy…

Seriously? You can’t live without this? I don’t understand the attractiveness of simply being able to move Task Bar buttons (and/or tray icons) around. Well, OK, I would like it if Windows allowed it by default, but running a hook-using application at all times to accomplish this, and going “crazy” by not being able to? I don’t get it. Don’t be offended, as I am not throwing stones; I simply mean exactly what I am saying, which is that I don’t get it.

Thanks much for the pointer to this great little app! It allows me to keep my temporary IE windows to the right of others, such as XYplorer and Windows Explorer and such.
